Electric Shopping Carts

I am going to speak my peace about something that really irritates me: Lazy fat people hogging the handicapped shopping carts. You know the ones the people get on that say they are handicapped? Shouldn't there be some sort of test those people have to take? And do they have exclusive right away to run over anyone? Man, woman or child? Is everyone fair game for them in thier quest for food?

Not all, but I see serveral that get on them and think they are some sort of shopping god. They honk the horn and its "get out of my way or die today" mentallity. I thought they would have to follow the same rules as everyone else. But I guess if they can ram you and shove you out of the way it's fair game. And if they do honk and you dont move some of them get pretty pissy. I figure they can relax; they have a seat. I wonder if they just shove right to the head of the line?

When genuinely disabled people come to shop, there are often none available. I have watched in disgust as genuinely disabled folks struggle to shop in their wheelchairs with a basket across their lap, or a regular cart in front of their wheelchair. You may have seen them too. People who are able bodied need to get up, get a regular cart, and push it.

By my experience with people that use these electric carts, all of them are mostly the overweight people who are too fat to walk off the 1,000 calories form the big mac & supersized fries and large DIET coke! And what kind of things do things do these land whales usually have in their carts? Ice cream, cookies, cakes, soda, chips and just about anything else with no nutritional value beyond raw calories. What really makes me sick is when they use food stamps to pay for this junk. Why is that allowed? Those were meant for the staple foods that make a good meal so that nobody has to starve. Buying garbage snacks with them should be banned.

Don't they get it? If they walked at least 30 minutes a day, they could be off to a good start by loosing all that extra weight. Sure it might hurt their "cankles" at first, but if they kept walking instead of riding a cart, maybe someone else who really is handicapped won't have to wait their turn for one of those carts!

I'm with the band

Maybe, .... it's me.

BUFFALO CREEK
live at LaSalles, Chico CA

This band is my FAVORITE homegrown, local group of amazingly talented musicians!

You can check out their myspace page by clicking on this link:
http://myspace.com/buffalocreek

Or, if you are a daily vistor to YouTube, check them out at:

The band members are such great talented people, and really love what they do. Their performances are sold out every time they come to town, and the house is always rockin, and people cut loose and have a good time.

Who makes up Buffalo Creek?

  • Bryn Loosley
  • Nick Bearden
  • Ryan Odonovan
  • August Germar
  • Marc Stafford

All of them as individuals rock, but put them together and they'll bring the house down!

My Favorite Songs:
  1. Northern California
  2. Paint By Numbers
  3. Bar Room Queens
  4. Happy To Be Here
  5. Maybe

Can't wait to see Nick this Friday night!

I need to find one of those "I'm with the band" shirts...Cause really, I am.

Unhappily Ever After

I just read that Hugh Hefners world is falling apart! What A Shame!!!!

Kendra is hooking up with a football player, go figure. Hank Baskett of the Philidelphia Eagles. I guess there weren't any eligable bachelors on her favorite team, the SD Chargers....

And then Holly has apparently been seen with Criss Angel...eh, he's alright. She wants to get married and have kids and I guess she just couldn't convince Hef to DIVORCE his WIFE, Kimberly Conrad who is the mother of 2 of his 4 kids!

And then, always sweet and innocent and not to say the least, the ditziest sounding one, Bridget IS MARRIED to a guy in Ohio!!!

WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON???????????

The government busts a ring of polygamists in Texas, but celebrities are free to commit adultry and get away with it?

What the hell is this country coming too????

Taking The Long Way To Wide Open Spaces

So I finally did it. After about 12 years of listening to these three girls and relating my life experiences to the words of their songs, I finally did it.
I don't know what it was inside me that just decided that it was the day to do it, but I did it. I've been thinking of adding words to it that describe the last 12 years of my life, but when Kip was sketching it out, I guess I backed out of his idea, mainly because I wasn't sure if I wanted something covering the whole top of my foot.
Brad was shocked, dumbfounded to say the least. "Out of character" to be exact. I just went off and did it. I had that tight tension feeling in my chest the whole way there. Like I couldn't breathe, not panicky. I've never felt that before. I've had gut feelings that I knew something wasn't right, but this didn't feel the same.
It took Kip all of about 3 minutes literally. When he stopped to fill the needle with more ink, I asked him if that was just one, and he said actually that was two. Only 4 more to go. Thank god it was over as quick as it was because I really don't think I could handle everything else I wanted with it.
Brad says I should finish it. For him. I looked at him and said "I don't do things for other people." but maybe he's right, after all my idea is pretty meaningful to me, so maybe.
I'll have to think about it all week. We're heading to Chico again next week to celebrate Brads birthday and another friends and our Anniversary and a house-warming party. Plus it's payday.
So, maybe.

There goes another $1.00 down the drain

Tooth Fairy has survived the economic downfall
Teagan has officially lost her 5th tooth this morning.
After months of being so happy that she had another loose tooth,
and about 3 days of crying and starving because she couldn't eat,
and a mouth full of yellowish teeth because she wouldn't brush them...

Mommy came to the rescue and pulled it out.
Well, I didn't really have to do much pulling,
the tooth was dangling there by a string of gum,
and it basically fell out on it's own...with a tad bit of help.

So, off to school she went smiling and giggly.
She learned to push her tounge out the hole.
She was so excited to tell her teacher,
who is probably grateful it didn't fall out during class.

She'll be eating lunch today at school,
and hopefully won't be so hungry when she comes home.

If God isn't a fan of PENN STATE

Then why did he make the sky
BLUE & WHITE????

I'm starting to get Super Saturday fever...what is it with me and all these fevers? Speaking of, I'm really warm right now...it's getting hot in the house. Time to turn the AC on.

Anyways...I'm looking at the site to purchase football tickets. Not any football tickets, PSU football tickets! They have the schedules of future games all the way to 2012!!! I think I will start saving my quarters to purchase tickets to at least 3 games. Definitely have to go with a Michigan game, and either Ohio State or Purdue.

The last game I was at was against Nebraska in 2002. Let me tell you, it was the most thrilling thing I have witnessed. There was so much adrenaline, and excitement it was uncontrollable. Now I know why they say that Penn State has the best 'Student Section' in the country! There was over 110,000 people in Beaver Stadium that day, and to top it all off...Joe Pa was graced with his 329th winning game!!!!

"WE ARE....PENN STATE"

I don't get people who say

"I hate drama"....

But then they turn around and complain that everything is always the same and fuck it all, blab blab blab, on and on and on about who did what, so and so said this about this person, or they are over it when really they aren't....??????

This is why I truly truly, honestly can say that I am one that does not get involved with anything anymore. I've been involved in it, started it, ended it and it isn't a fun place to be or a fun thing to deal with...it's acutally quite exhausting keeping all the facts straight and remembering who said what and when.

If there is stuff going on say at work...I let the involved people say what they want to say, and keep it at that...I don't go running to who ever it is they might have talked about and tell them what they just said...

I STAY OUT OF IT!!!!!!!! I guess that's why everyone asks me how I manage to just let things "roll of my back"...I just do. I don't care what other people are up to in their lives unless it directly involves me. But even if it does, I still don't get involved.

How many of us can really say that they are not involved in any form of drama, when they keep bashing it one way or another?

I have a fever

Baby fever that is....

One of my girlfriends is pregnant with her second child, 4 people I know have had thier babies within the last month, and my babies are growing up.

I want to smell that clean Johnson & Johnson baby smell again, I want to do laundry with Dreft. I wanna buy all those cute clothes at work, and snuggle them up in soft cozy blankets. I wanna hear that lullaby that puts them to sleep 20 times over and over again...

But I guess I would have to be in the mood to have sex if I wanna try to have another baby huh?
